About this participation platform
This public participation platform is an initiative by the local government, in collaboration with digital neighbourhood network Hoplr. This site brings together all citizen engagement opportunities and communication. This way, citizens who are not registered to the digital neighbourhood network can participate as well.
How does it work?
On the homepage, you’ll find all available projects, surveys and other initiatives in which you can participate. As well as an overview of all updates and activities. You can filter items according to neighbourhood or theme.
In order to vote or comment, you need to be logged in. Use your Hoplr account or register. The account you create here, and its data, will exclusively be used and saved within the public participation platform.
What is Hoplr?
Hoplr - pronounce «hopler» - is the closed, ad-free network that makes it easier to:
- connect with the people who live nearby;
- stay up-to-date with alerts in your neighbourhood: such as traffic road works, garbage collection, upcoming noise nuisance,...;
- exchange used items with your neighbours: after all, it’s much easier to give away or receive second-hand items to or from people who live closeby;
- get an overview of all activities and events in your environment, or organise a fun activity for your neighbours yourself;
- offer or ask for help with chores or recommendations; and
- communicate with your local government.
